A Hotel's a Hotel right?

Okay, so I finally made it to Boston for the big DIA Conference for my work. It was quite a day...the flight was an hour late taking off from San Diego, sat next to 2 very nice people (though didn't say more than 'excuse me' and 'bless you' until the last 20 minutes of the trip..I know...just call me social butterfly);

Had the flight attendant tell the woman next to me she 'never eats plane food' when asked how the sandwhiches are (which by the way I had just purchased one for $6..thanks company spokesperson..way to sell your product);

Endured a frustrating taxi ride to the wrong hotel on the wrong street (and of course I didn't notice until the taxi driver had taken my money and already off with another sucker, er fare in back) but decided to make the best of it and walked (yes that's right I hoofed it) about 20 minutes to the right hotel;

Made it up stairs to my hotel room where apparently I requested the Artic Suite because I am freezing my asterik off right now even though I turned up the thermostat over 15 minutes ago....oh and did I mention I'm starving and am waiting for my salad and strawberry ice cream to arrive from room service...Hey, I deserve a treat. And after all that I still have to go and work out (run Forrest run) and then hopefully fall into blissful sleep.

Oh Oh...and get this, this is funny...so the name of the hotel I'm staying at is the Westin "WATERFRONT"....so I think, cool, let me check out my view....

Yeah...par for the course...I got the view of streets but off in the distance I think I can see some water..yeah there in front...ah that's what they meant by "Waterfront".

Alright...enough of the pity party...tomorrow and the rest of the week should be good and hopefully somewhat fun. I'll try to take some pics of Boston and maybe some of the fun conference stuff I get to do...whoo hoo!
