Jingle Bell Walk - Biddies & Babes

This Saturday was the Arthritis Foundation Annual Jingle Bell Walk in Balboa Park. I have been doing this walk with my best friends Jen and Becs (and their kids: Savannah, Nathan, Dylan & Wyatt) and Jen's mom Irene, and my mom Fiona for the past few years. This year, the name of our Team was "Biddies & Babes". You decide who is a babe and who is a biddy!

The walk is a way for us to share some quality time together in the midst of the Holiday season, the kids have a blast, and well frankly, we get to show off our 'ugly sweater' collections!

The walk is a 5k (3.1 miles) and we are getting better at it each year (translation: more walking less whining). I was so impressed with Jen's mom and my mom as they both completed it, with smiles on their face and looked good doing it. This was Irene's first 5k and my mom's second. 'Old Biddies' rock!

Another great walk and for such a good cause. Next year we are going to attempt to jog it a little (yes you heard me right...our moms want to try to 'trot' next year..have I said how impressed I am by them?) Happy Holidays!
